This last Saturday, we went for a short hike looking for Sam's cousins. They took a longer hike than us and Marie-Pierre snapped these beautiful shots. We were at the top of the Jura mountains admiring the Alpes and La Vallee de Joux right below. It's official, the snow is here! soon we'll be skiing...

Last week end was that time of year again when we go down to Manosque for a literary festival and hang out with friends. While Anne-Celine, Maxence, Jerome and Veronique are getting interviewed on their impression of the festival, Sam is chatting with Arnaud Catherine few tables further down.

During our vacation in Pontis, close to Embrun and Gap, by the lake of Serre Poncon in Les Alpes de Haute Provence, Sam rode up le Col d'Izoard.

How many weeks had it been? way too many. I couldn't even remember the last time we had sunshine. It feels like we got robbed from a nice spring here. But this week end felt like summer (even if as I'm typing a major rain storm started...) So we got out, couln't get enough of this nice weather. Sunday we went an hike in the swiss Alps. We drove up in the mountains realizing even before we were out of the car that we were not equipped to do what we were hoping for. The snow level is still low. So we hiked up to a dam and stopped there. The plan was to go around the lake but the light hiking boots were not good enough. The trail was closed ayway. Will just have to come back when the snow is gone and the lake is higher...

Time... for spring.

I'm ready for spring! We finally switch to spring time this week end.

I sent a quick email to a couple of friends in the US to let them know:

- "we're changing our clocks this week end".

And I got the following answer from V.:

- "what kind of new clocks are you getting or do you guys just swap with the neighbors?"

Still laughing about it.
